With the kids out of school on Good Friday we decided to head up to the cabin. We were not prepared for the cold weather! Lucky for us grandma keeps all the snow clothes up there. My kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow and with their cousins. Decorating the eggs was quite the production and all the kids loved it. My mom decided to give the kids their Easter baskets up their and it turned out so cute. She prepared a scavenger hunt that brought in the story about Easter. It was nice for my kids to be able to focus on the atonement and the savior amongst all the candy and Easter eggs. It was also so fun to wake up with snow! We don't get to see that very often!
